UPDATE (4/28):We delivered 40 gallons of handsanitizer, and have ordered 576 face shields & 2000 masks!
Who are we and what are we trying to do?
Over the past few weeks medical students have begun fundraising across the country to support those working on the front lines. The accessible Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the country is very limited. Healthcare providers are going without the necessary N95 masks, gloves, etc to keep themselves safe while treating our community's sickest.
In this student run and funded initiative, students from the Atlanta area are coming together to help support local and the greater Atlanta hospitals by asking for monetary donations for PPE- specifically N95 masks. Along with our fundraising efforts we are also collecting physical PPE donations. Donate NOW!

What is PPE?Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) includes masks, face shields, gloves, goggles, glasses, gowns, head and shoe covers.
PPE is so important because it protects healthcare providers against the transmission of germs that can be spread through contact and droplets. Due to the rapid rise of COVID-19 cases our healthcare providers do not enough PPE to protect themselves and others-- This is where we can help! |
What can YOU do to help?!
Right now we are in contact with the following hospitals to distribute PPE according to their specific needs:
Emory University Hospital, Grady Health System, Children's Hospital of Atlanta, St. Joseph Hospital, Piedmont Healthcare, WellStar Health System, Northside Hospital, Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany Internal Medicine, Colquitt Regional Medical Center, Archbold Medical Center, Tift Regional Medical Center, and more to come!
You can make a direct impact--for every $3 donated, you are providing an N95 mask directly to healthcare provider for another day as they fight this pandemic. Together we can reach our goals!
We are also collecting any PPE supplies including N95 masks, protective suits (such as Dupont Tyvek body suits), goggles, face shields, gloves, etc. The situation is so dire that even expired protective materials you have on hand can help the healthcare workers save lives.
